Happy Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend. I am a bit late this week with my Sunday card. So, this post is a late stepped-up Sunday post. Why am I late you may ask. Because I have been trying to fulfill some of my husband’s adventures on his bucket list. He is having another surgery on the 19th and because of his weak heart, all procedures are risky procedures. With that being said, we, like everyone else do not know what the future holds.
So, without further ado, here is the card for Saturday.
In creating this card, I used the Full of Love stamp set. I just love this set because it reminds me of my Gal Friday logo. This is also one of the new In Colors, Tahitian Tide.
Now, let’s see what I did to the card to step it up.
The layout of my late stepped-up Sunday card is the same. What I did do was add a ribbon, an embossed background, some extra pearls and leaves from Forever Fern. Let’s take a look at the cards side by side.
The subtle difference really changes the look of the card. Don’t you just love the Tahitian Tide color?
