Thank goodness it is Friday! It has been one of those weeks. If you noticed this weeks showcase focused on blending. I created a sunset, I blending with by masking and adding vellum and I also used a stencil to blend. Today, I am using the Quiet Meadow bundle again and create a background at sunrise.

There are still stars in the dark sky and the sun is rising over the horizon. I blended using the classic stamp pad and blending brushes. Did I happen to mention I love the blending brushes? They allow for a smooth blend of color. Take a look at the Blending 101 post, I gave some tips and tricks on blending.
Color Palette
There is no green ink used in blending this background, the blending brush picked up the blue from my mat when adding the Daffodil Delight.

The card base of the card today is Basic Black with a layer of Night of Navy. The stars were embossed with white emboss powder and the color changed when I blending the Night of Navy to the top.

I did not forget the inside of the card. I stamped the flowers in Memento and added a piece of yellow twine that is now retired.
