Sunday at 2 PM (est) I always go live with my simple Saturday/stepped-up Sunday video in my Gal Friday Stamping group and my YouTube channel, this week was no different. It was a Hello Ladybug weekend with a different sized card. Instead of the standard size cards, I created a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4″ card using the Hello Ladybug stamp set and coordinating punch.
color pallette for today’s cards

The simple Saturday card is as simple as can be. A bit of stamping and of course my layers. I added the sentiment to the inside of the card and added some spots in memento.
Basic White
- 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 score at 4 1/4
- 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
- 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 for the inisde
Real Red
- 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
- 4 x 4 for the inside
Designer Series Paper

Here is today’s stepped-up Sunday card. Instead of stamping, I used the punch for the ladybug. Her wings are punched from vellum. And I punched her body from Real Red and Basic Black. The head was fussy cut off the Basic Black punch and adhered it to the Real Red body. I also stamped the flowers using Poppy Parade and fussy cut them for the front of the card. The leaf was stamped on Lemon Lime Twist cardstock using Old Olive ink.
