Last night was Mystery Card Monday. I used the Textured Floral bundle to create a really fun card that can also be considered a fun fold card. Below you will find the first clue, replay of the video and templates so it’s a mystery no more for you. Get that paper out and create!

Here is the card base, it measures 5 1/2 across and 8 1/2 down. It is scored at 4 1/4. From the top right corner measure down 1 1/2 ” and place a mark. Starting at the bottom right corner, measure up 1 1/2″ and place a mark. Now starting on the right-side measure in on the score at 3″ and make a mark. The 2 diagonal score lines are mountain folds and the 4 1/4″ score line is a valley fold.
There is a mat layer, 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and a basic white or designer series paper layer that measures 5 1/8 x 4″. Below is a template for the cutting guide for your layers.

These layers need to fit that odd shaped base. First cut your layer, make your marks and cut off the upper right hand corner.
WHAT IS MYSTERY CARD MONDAY?
I bet you are thinking to yourself, what is Mystery Card Monday? Well, just like life, it is a mystery till the event is over. Here is how it works. Each Sunday, I prepare the first clue to the mystery. Once that is finished, I post the clue either on my newsletter or in my Gal Friday Mystery Card Monday group and during the video I will teach you how to create a card with the supplies you have gathered. It will be a simple card for all levels of stampers. So, if you missed last night’s video, gather your supplies from the document below and watch the replay of the video above.
