This morning I decided to play again with the Last a Lifetime stamp set. Yesterdays card were bold and bright so today I decided to go with elegant. A bit of black and gold elegance as a matter of fact.
Don’t you just love the different looks you can get with each stamp set you use? That is the reason behind why I create each week with the same stamp set. To show the versatility of each set that Stampin’ Up! creates. Today is a perfect example of the versatility. Just go back to yesterday’s post for my Thursday Night Live and compare it to today’s card. Same stamp set and completely different look.

Basic card base using Basic Black card stock with an additional layer before popping up the gold foil layer. Grabbing another layer of the Basic Black, I stamped and embossed in gold. Isn’t it lovely?

The sentiment is also embossed on a Ornate Frame die that will be retiring with the Annual Catalog. Added a few of the Gold Glitter gems and the front of the card is finished. Let’s take a look at the inside, which I did not forget.

I kept it very simple by adding a layer of Basic Black and embossing the small flower from the Last a Lifetime stamp set. This inside just finishes off the black and gold elegance of this card.
