Good morning and Happy Friday! If you joined me last night, thank you. Last night I used the Perched in a Tree and the Ringed with Nature bundles. I believe last night’s projects are leaning towards masculine, others may disagree. Let’s take a look.

Unfortunately, I do not have individual pictures for last nights cards. I am sitting in the waiting room of the Heart & Vascular Institute within Lancaster General Hospital. The cardiologist wants Bill to have a nuclear stress test before Monday’s bladder procedure.
The first card has many layers, with one of the layers die cut with the trees from the Perched in a Tree bundle. Behind the tree trunks is a layer of Boughs of Holly dsp. You can download the PDF below. You can also catch last night’s replay HERE. I created the twigs but cutting them first in Soft Suede card stock, cutting them again in greens and snipped off the leaves and adhered them to the Soft Suede die cuts. The inside of this card was stamped with the bird in memento and the branch in Soft Suede. Neither image was colored.
For the second card, the bird is colored in blends. I also blended the background with Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow. The layers of wood were created using the Ringed in Nature dies and coordinating embossing folder. Created the twig branches the same way as the first card. For the inside of this card, I stamped some leaves in Old Olive down the left hand edge.
I was told by my husband that these cards are not leaning towards masculine, but in my eyes they are the most masculine cards I have created lately.
