Welcome to another weekly showcase with Gal Friday Stamping. Hope everyone has been enjoying their card making and the wonderful weather. It has been a bit crazy in the household lately and it looks like that the rest of the month will be no better. The one highlight of the month so far was the arrival of grandbaby number 6. She was welcomed into the world a month early and is a sweetheart. Because of her, let’s play peek-a-boo today.
I love being able to highlight different stamp sets each week. There are those sets that seem to get lost in the catalog. The set I will be using this week is one of those lost sets I believe. It was one that I overlooked. I even pulled it out a few times and wasn’t sure what to create. Today though, I was excited I as I began stamping and coloring the images!
I started out the week with the sweet cow that is in this set. Isn’t he/she just the cutest? I just love this image, mostly because cows are one of my favorite animals. We also have an Amish farm right behind me and I get to enjoy his field of cows all the time.
I just can not wait to create with the other sweet animals in this set during the week.
Color Palette
One of the other reasons I love this stamp set so much is that it gives me the ability to color with my Stampin’ Blends. There is ample room to create shadows and depth.
This little cow is just stopping by to say hello. Stamping, blending and coloring created today’s card. All the used in creating today’s Let’s Play Peek-a-Boo card are available for purchase.
Of course I did not forget the inside of today’s card. I added the designer series paper and a scalloped edge.
