TGIF! As I have said in the past, it really does not make a difference what day of the week it is for me. But I sure enjoy when Friday gets here so I can share the measurements for my video cards. I also love Friday because it means it is almost the weekend and I will not have to worry about the phone ringing and having another nurse or doctor on the other end. Now, let’s take a look at my Painted Poppy Thursday Live.
Tonight, I created a trio of cards using the Painted Poppy stamp set and matching dies. I wanted something clean and simple but elegant. The first card I created has the poppy as the focal point. It was stamped using Memento and colored using Dark Cherry Cobbler and Light Real Red Stampin’ Blends.
If you missed last night’s live, you can catch the replay in my group Gal Friday Stamping or my YouTube channel. You can download the Free PDF at the bottom of todays post.

I also matched the inside of the card to the front of the card using the same image.

When creating the second card, I wanted to show that you do not need to emboss the front of the card. Just a plain front with a stamped sentiment is also the perfect way to display this beautiful stamp set.

For the inside of this card, I stamped a field of poppies using the Real Red Classic stamp pad.

Instead of creating a 3D item last night, I created a third card. Everyone needs “thank you” cards so that is exactly what I created.

There is a field of poppies on the inside of this card also.
