This week we made a quick mystery Monday card, and I cannot believe that I forgot to post. Here is the first clue that was sent thru email and posted in my Gal Friday Mystery Monday card.
Clue # 1 ~ you can orient your card either portrait or landscape
1. Colored cardstock – 11 x 4 1/4 , scored at 5 1/2”
2. Same Colored Cardstock – 3 ¾ x 2 ¼, 3 x 1 ¾ and 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
3. Designer Series Paper – 3 ½ x 2 and 2 ¾ x 1 ½ (orient your dsp for the layout of your card)
5. Basic White- (2) 5 ¼ x 4 and (1) 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
6. Dies, Punches, Snips and your favorite embossing folder
7. Stamps – images and sentiment
8. Ink
9. Coloring tools if needed for Stamps
10. Adhesive – Including Dimensionals
11.Trimmer (just in case)
12.Embellishments

Here is the finished card. I used retired Dandy Delight designer series paper, and the retiring Bermuda Bay cardstock.

clue 2 – 13
CLUE #2 Score Colored Cardstock 4 ¼” x 11 at 5 ½”
# 3 adhere the 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 colored cardstock to the front of the card.
CLUE #4 Emboss one of the 5 ¼ x 4 basic white layers and adhere to the 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 colored cardstock.
#5 Add the layers from clue 3 to the front of your card.
CLUE #6 Add DSP to the 2 pieces of colored cardstock
#7 Pop up the 2 rectangles with the dsp to the front of your card.
CLUE # 8 Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White and back with scrap of colored cardstock or turn it into a banner.
#9 Pop up the sentiment from clue 7 onto the front of your card.
Clue # 10 stamp an image to the 5 ¼ x 4 basic white layer
#11 Layer the 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and the stamped 5 ¼ x 4 layers of Basic White together using adhesive. (you do not want to see the glue thru the layers).
CLUE # 12 adhere the two basic white layers to the inside of the card
#13 Add any embellishments you think your card needs!
