Back again with another card using the Reflected in Nature stamp set. You can find this stamp set in the Mini (Holiday) Catalog. It creates a beautiful stamped image using a Dist-Ink-Tive stamp to create different opacities in a single stamped image. But did you know that you can create reflective stamping with any stamp you have? It is a fun and easy technique that works with sentiments and images. There is a video below showing you how you too can stamp reflections.
I used Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight inks and card stock for today’s card. The top of the stamp was inked in Night of Navy, the bottom was inked with Misty Moonlight. Yep, that’s right, this stamp has both the image and the reflection on one stamp. No special technique needed when stamping this image. Just add ink and stamp. But would you like to be able to stamp reflections with other stamps you own? You actually can. Take a look at the quick video below.
I left today’s card a bit plain so it can also be used for the men in your life. The eagle stamp is also included in the Reflected in Nature stamp set and he is flying in to let you know “Each day is an adventure!”
Of course, I did not forget the inside of the card. I just added a line of the eagles on the inside leaving lots of room for your personal message.
