All week I have been showcasing the Brushed Blooms bundle using the Retiring 2019-2021 In-Colors. Today is no different. I created a retiring pretty peacock card using brushed blooms today.
I have given you a chance to learn of the retiring colors all week. It was a fun and sometimes difficult week using the colors that are retiring. It was a difficult week because there are some retiring In-Colors that I am going to hate to see leave. I am hoping that some of the colors that will be replacing these colors will be similar in hue. But I have had lots of fun showing you the different card designs that you can incorporate using the Brushed Blooms bundle from Stampin’ Up! Check out the card that I am including in today’s newsletter as a free PDF.

Retiring Pretty Peacock Card
In creating today’s card, I used Pretty Peacock, Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Basic White card stock. Colors that I would never really think about putting together but they do coordinate very nicely.

The roses on the front of the card were embossed in white embossing powder and run thru the mini cut & emboss machine with the matching die. The leaves are from the Forever Fern dies and I used the stamp to add the leaves to the background.

Don’t forget the inside of the card. I stamped the same leaves used on the front of the card and brought them to the inside.
