Happy Saturday! I am so happy to be back again today with another Brushed Blooms Simple Saturday card. But wait, I am not sure how simple this card actually is. Let me explain. When I have lot’s to do, my mind never sleeps. So when I go to bed at night there are thoughts running thru my head, especially when I have a card to create. I see cards swirling around and many of my ideas come to me during the night. Today’s card is not different. I knew what I wanted to create this morning. Although, I am not sure it can be categorized as a Simple Saturday card. I decided to post it anyway.
If you follow me, you know that I focused this week on all the Retiring In-Colors partnered with the Brushed Blooms bundle. Today is no different for the exception, I am not using any retiring colors today. The color combination today are neutral colors, basic black, white and crumb cake. If you look closely, the rose is stamped on a window sheet, the layer is popped up and there is an image of leaves stamped behind it on a layer of basic white.

Card base is Basic Black, with a stamped layer of Basic White. There are two Crumb Cake layers. The oval was die cut out of both layers and then one layer was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds folder. I stamped the rose on a Window Sheet and adhered it between the Crumb Cake layers and popped the whole thing onto the front of the card.

As for the inside? I simply stamped the leaves from Forever Fern in Crumb Cake and the rose from Brushed Blooms in memento black. We don’t want to forget the inside.

THANK YOU
