Gal Friday created a card for Simple Saturday today. Each week I use Saturday’s to show you that your cards don’t always have to be over the top. All you need is a few elements and a focus image. That is what I did today.

If you saw yesterdays card, you noticed that I colored the designer series paper to create the face of the card. Today, I fussy cut the flowers from the designer series paper and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. The fussy cut flower is my focus image. Adding a few different shapes with layering squares, rectangles and ovals add a bit of interest to the front of the card also.

When creating this card I actually followed a card layout image to place my elements. The template is available for all in my Gal Friday Patreon account. Follow the link and find out what is available to my patrons.
