Thank you for joining me on Sunday for my simple Saturday/stepped-up Sunday video. If you weren’t aware, I go live at 2 PM (est) every Sunday and create a simple card and step that simple card up. This week was no different. I decided to create with greens and the Greatest Adventure bundle. It was the first time using the stamp set. Let’s take a look.

These are perfect masculine cards. If you are like me, I struggle when it comes to masculine cards.
So, for the simple Saturday card, I let the designer series paper do most of the talking. The hikers and the mountain in the front are die cuts.

For the inside of the card, I just carried in the trees to continue his adventure.
The stepped-up Sunday card is a little more focused on the hiker and the mountains. I was going to use the same sentiment for the stepped-up card as I did for the simple card, but I did not like the way the sentiment looked embossed.

For both cards, the basic card base and layers are the same. The stepped- up card has the added popped up section where the focus changes.
measurements
I used Mint Macaron, Evening Evergreen and basic White.
Card base ~ 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 ~ 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
DSP ~ 5 1/4 x 4
For the simple Saturday card, I die cut the mountain and the hiker from the Greatest Adventure dies using Evening Evergreen cardstock. The mountain is adhered, and the hiker is popped up.
Jumping to the stepped-up card, here are the measurements for the popped up section.
Evening Evergreen ~ 4 1/8 x 2 7/8. You will also emboss the sentiment at the bottom of this layer.
Mint Macaron ~ 3 x 2 3/4
DSP ~ 2 7/8 x 2 5/8
I popped the 3 layers above onto the front of the card. But before I did that, I wrapped it with a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon. I also tied a bow and adhered it to the front. If you noticed, I added a small piece of yellow cardstock to the back side of the lantern, so it looks like it is lit.
