Were you able to catch Sunday’s simple Saturday/stepped-up Sunday cards this week? It was so much fun creating with the Kindest Gnomes stamp set that is retiring with the mini catalog. There’s Gnome One Like You was a fun class.

I created with some of my favorite colors.

measurements
For the simple Saturday card cut the following:
Highland Heather: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4, 5 1/8 x 3 7/8. For the inside of the card a layer measuring 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Basic White: 5 1/4 x 4 and a shimmery white layer 3 7/8 x 2 5/8 for the front of the card. For the inside of the card 5 1/4 x 4
Gorgeous Grape: 4 1/8 x 2 7/8
The gnome was water colored with pencils and a water painter after stamping the image with memento.

Taking a look at the stepped-up Sunday card, I created an easel card with the same colors and also added some designer series paper.
For the stepped-up Sunday Gnome One Like You class card cut the following.
Highland Heather: 11 x 4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2 and 2 1/4. Also, a layer measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and 5 1/4 x 4. For the inside of the card, you need a layer measuring 5 3/8 x 4 1/8.
Basic White: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and a 3 7/8 x 2 1/8 that you will run thru your cut & emboss machine with the Timeworn Type 3D EF. You will also need a small square for the gnome’s beard. For the inside of the card 5 1/4 x 4.
Tea Boutique dsp: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8. Plus, you want to die cut the gnome hat.
Gorgeous Grape: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 for the inside and 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 to die cut the scalloped contour frame which you will pop up onto the front of the card. Also, die cut the gnome shoes.
To finish off the card, punch Gorgeous Grape and Basic White using the Double Oval Punch so the front of the card will stand for you.
