Thank goodness it is Friday! If you are new to my blog, you know that Friday is the day that I post the FREE PDF for the cards I created during my live. Today is no different. Last night we were visiting the pig sty. No we weren’t in a muddy mess, we were creating with the “This Birthday Piggy” stamp set. This stamp set is a new release in the new annual catalog. The pigs are adorable and so are the sentiments.
I created two greeting cards and one adorable gift box. You can see the replay of the video on my YouTube channel and also in my group. You will need to see the video for a more detailed explanation of the gift box.
The projects showcase Petal Pink and Smoky Slate card stock. This sweet little pig has found itself in the middle of a flower bed. How cute he/she is. If you look closely, I added a couple of Polished Petals. Those petals will be retired when the mini catalog retires in June.
I added a scalloped edge with some Neutral designer series paper under the sentiment. It leaves lots of room for you to add your words of endearment.
Lots of layers adorns the front of the second card. I added texture to two of the layers. Stampin’ Blends were used to color the image. If you would like to learn how I color with blends, head over to my Patreon group. For just $3.00 a month I give you tips and tricks about coloring.
The inside of the card is simple. I pulled the image from the front stamped in Petal Pink.
Isn’t the box adorable? I topped it with the third image in the stamp set. You will have to see the video for more detailed scoring and cutting instructions.
Although there are many products used for these cards, most of the products will just add goodness to your stash.
Thank you so much for choosing me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!
