April has arrived, can you believe it? Where do the days go? The days just fly by and here it is April. Next month, the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog is being released. You are going to love the new products along with the new In Colors. Today, my live, featured the Forever Blossoms stamp set and matching Cherry Blossom dies. I created 5 cards using 1 stamp set. I also added a bonus card using just the dies.
For the first card I used Bumblebee card stock with basic white. We are going to be working on monochromatic cards using the same stamp set. I will change up a few things to create a completely different look.

Bumblebee card base, with a layer of Basic White. Flowers are stamped with Bumblebee and Daffodil Delight Classic stamp pads. Add a few gems and you too can create this quick, clean and simple card.

I added a layer of Bumblebee card stock, on the Basic White layer I stamped the smaller flowers in Daffodil Delight. Let’s take a look at the same card in a different color and taking it up a notch.

The second card is just like the first card but with a twist. I used Magenta Madness. Stamped and die cut the flower and popped it up onto the front of the card and added a bow.

I stamped half of the image I used on the front of the card on the inside of the card. Don’t forget the inside of the card.
When creating the Just Jade card, I should have added a layer of white to the front of the card. Although this simply stamped card is pretty, the white would have again changed the look.

Let’s Use the Stampin’ Blends
Using the Cinnamon Cider In Color let’s up our game. This time I added a doily and after stamping the image, colored it with blends. I also used designer series paper and matched my blends to the colors in the designer series paper.

Only thing added to the inside of the card is the sentiment. Jumping over to the Misty Moonlight, let’s step it up a notch. I pulled in the Parisian EF, designer series papers and the retiring Ornate Frames dies.

As an added bonus, I created another card. This is the perfect card if you would rather keep your stamping to a minimum just use the dies.
