Back again with another post creating alternate projects using February Paper Pumpkin Kit. I again kept the projects close to the instructions but added a bit of myself to both of these cards. If you would like to see the cards included in the February kit; take a look at the photo in yesterdays post. As I touched on yesterday, I try to keep the alternate projects as close as I can to the included instructions. For one card today, I added additional layers and kept the layout similar. The second card had additional layers added. I also colored and stamped the floral bouquet instead of using the cut out.

The base of both cards used Rococo Rose, and as you remember this is a retiring color. On the Thinking of you card I used the cut outs, black letter sticker and the gold floral layer included in the kit.

Of course I even decorated the inside. The kit includes a stamp set and I used one of the flowers that matches the cut outs on the inside of the card.

Looking at the second card, I again used the Rococo Rose card base and an extra layer. The gold cut out is also included in the kit. What I did different is that I stamped the bouquet and colored it with Stampin’ Blends.

It is such a pretty stamp that I used for my alternate projects using the February Paper Pumpkin kit. I like the flowers instead of the label and sentiment on the front of the card.

I did not forget the inside of the card. That is where I added the sentiment and extra layers along with twine included in the kit.
