We have made it to the middle of the week and Hey Chick is back on the funny farm. I have been having so much fun with this set. Chickens have a special place in my heart because it brings back memories. Those memories included when the hubby and I had our farm. It was 10 acres and we had mini horses, goats, peacocks and chickens. Those chickens were just so much fun. One in particular was named Henrietta and she use to follow hubby around the farm. She also laid the largest eggs I have ever seen. If I laid my hand flat, her eggs would fill my hand.
Today’s card using the Hey Chick bundle is just one corner of the funny farm. The crazy haired chicken is peeking around the corner to send you salutations to have a happy day! If you spend your days around chickens, you will have a happy day.
Today’s card is created with Cinnamon Cider as the card base, with a layer of Early Espresso, In Good Taste dsp and Very Vanilla. The corn stalks, corn and fence are the dies that are included in the Hey Chick Bundle.
The sky was blended with Balmy Blue and the images were colored with blends. Lot’s of layers of fun with Hey Chick as they are back on the funny farm.
Of course, you do not want to forget the inside of the card. Today, I just simply stamped the sentiment and used the corner punch for the corners. Also, do not forget the March Madness I have going on where you can be entered to win the Beautiful Autumn stamp set, matching punches and designer series paper. Get all the details HERE.
