Thank you for all the positive feedback for yesterday’s card using “In the Moment”. The In the Moment stamp set is being released with the new mini catalog in January. As a demonstrator, I was able to receive this set ahead of time. One of the amazing perks to being a demonstrator. Using the stamp set again today, I thought about crafters that don’t like to color.
Maybe it actually isn’t the fact that you don’t like to color, maybe you just do not have the time for a particular card. Well, I have the solution for you. Emboss.
Don’t do what I did when creating this card and forget to run a dryer sheet or stamping buddy across the card stock before embossing. You will notice in the bottom left-hand corner the embossing powder.
I created this card by cutting the layers and embossing the front. All in Night of Navy and Basic White. After embossing the image, I took my Chalk Pen and added some color to certain areas of the image.

How easy is that for a color palette?
You will notice her hat, wine and the edge of the desk is a different color than the background. That is the Chalk Pen that I used to add a bit on contrast to the image.
