Every Sunday, I go live at 2 (est) in my Gal Friday Stamping Group and YouTube channel. Yesterday was no different. I created a simple card for Saturday and stepped it up for Sunday. So let’s take a look at my cards from simple to stepped-up.

I love the penguin image included in the Sweet & Precious stamp set that is available in the Annual Catalog. There were several cards this past week that I created with this set, starting with my Thursday Live Class.
The simple Saturday card is just that, simple. A few layers, one embossed and another layer is designer series paper. The penguins were stamped using Memento, and a bit of color added using Stampin’ Blends.

Simple saturday measurements
- Night of Navy 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
- Misty Moonlight 5 1/4 x 4 embossed with the Basics 3 Pack EF
- DSP 3 5/8 x 2 1/4 die cut with the Stitched Rectangle die
- Basic White 3 5/8 x 2 1/4 die cut with the Stitched Rectangle die and penguin stamped using Memento
- Night of Navy 5 1/4 x 4 for the inside
- Basic White 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 stamp sentiment using Memento and adhere to the inside of the card
After creating the simple Saturday card, created a stepped-up Sunday card using the same colors and products. I just changed things up a bit to step it up.
