Inquiring minds want to know, how do you arrange your colors? I try to keep my cardstock and ink pads arranged according to color collections within Stampin’ Up! When you open the Annual Catalog to page 122, you will notice that the collections within Stampin’ Up! are separated into In Color, Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles.
I have the collection of colors below. You will notice that some of the colors have changed what collection they are in and also there were many colors that have retired, returned or are new. Let’s take a look.
new in colors 2023 – 2025
The new In Colors are warm and earth toned. I have heard a variety of comments regarding these colors but I believe they will create beautiful, rich cards. Have you seen the Earthen Elegance Suite? These colors are perfect for this suite. But that is only one suite you may say. But believe me, many of these colors are perfect for those rich colored cards.
brights collection
Here are some bright, beautiful and bold colors. Again, some of the colors that were in the Brights collection are gone or moved, one color is new and two are returning colors. Pumpkin pie was added to this collection from the Regals Collection. Bermuda Bay retired and so did Pacific Point. The new colors in this collection are Azure Afternoon and Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst which are returning colors.
neutrals collection
There was a change in this collection too. Misty Moonlight has returned, and Pecan Pie is new. Soft Suede and Sahara sand have retired.
regals collection
These colors make a statement when you create with them. Two returning colors in this collection Blueberry Bushel and Pretty Peacock. Blackberry Bliss and Pumpkin Pie changed their spot in collections and
subtles collection
Create sort and lovely cards with the colors in this collection. There was a big mix up in this collection. Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz retired. Blushing Bride and So Saffron also retired. There are also two returning colors to this collection, Lost Lagoon and Fresh Freesia. The two new colors in this collection are Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath.
My colors are arranged just like the color swatches in the collections above. It is going to take a bit of time to get use to the new arrangements. So, I have my colors arranged so I will be able to think about the collections every time I pick cardstock and ink pads.
Thank you so much for choosing me as your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
