Happy Monday! Today I am taking a look back at one of my favorite sets. I was so excited when I saw the release of the Poinsettia Place bundle and it is definitely worth playing with it again.

Not only are the stamps in this set beautiful but the dies are amazing. There are so many possibilities to create amazing cards with this set. Today I decided to emboss and pop up the sentiment. Something clean and simple if you need to create lots of cards this holiday season. I have to admit, I colored in the poinsettia with Stampin’ Blends. But it would be much easier to grab your Real Red Classic stamp pad and blend the color either with the brush or dauber. When coloring with blends over emboss powder, you have to be careful and make sure you wipe away any ink that you get on the powder. You would do the same with the ink pad, but the alcohol in the blends takes away some of the shine.

Red and gold foil with a touch of green, that is what I would call traditional Christmas Colors. It is an old time favorite of mine. Let’s take a look at a few of the cards that I created when the bundle first was released.
I loved creating the card with the foamaria last year. The dies in this set are perfect for creating three dimensional flowers.
Color Palette for One of My Favorite Sets
Of course I did not forget the inside of the card, but I kept it very plain.

I added one lonely sprig into the corner.
