Welcome to another weekly showcase at Gal Friday Stamping. Can you believe that it is the 1st of November? Even with all the things that have happened in my household the time sure did fly! Today I decided to create with the Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Let’s take a look at my shabby chic garden birdhouses card.
If you know me and you follow me on any of the social media sites, you know I love layers. So, creating this card today was right up my alley. Lots of layers are on the front of the this card. Although this card would require extra postage, I love it! Each of the designer series paper layers or card stock layers have their edges distressed with Early Espresso ink. I also used scrap dsp and card stock for todays card. My pile of scraps have been growing and as you know I am trying to get my craft room organized.
Build beautiful birdhouses with the Garden Birdhouses Stamp Set! Not only are there multiple birdhouse styles to choose from, but the foliage stamps included make a beautiful garden scene when stamped clustered multiple times. The brush-stroke art style lends to more free-flowing coloring techniques like watercolor or chalk pastels. I actually stamped, colored and distressed the edges of the birdhouses with ink.

I also did not forget the inside of today’s card. I stamped the foliage from the stamp set in Mossy Meadow.
