Well, we made it to the weekend. Woohoo! Welcome to Simple Saturday. For our simple Saturday card today we are going to use the Snailed It Bundle from the Snail Mail Suite. Such a fun set to work with this week. I have become obsessed with the sweet snails. Because of the obsession, I find myself a bit sad today. Why you ask? Gal Friday’s weekly showcase using this set is over. That does not mean that I will not be using it anymore.
For my simple Saturday card today, I have used lots of layers. If you follow me on a regular basis you know that I love layers. So, today is no different when it comes to creating my card.
This quick and easy card was created using a card layout that I had seen online. I took that layout and made it my own. When it comes to layouts, did you know that each week I post a layout in my patreon group? Each layout helps to get the juices flowing when you want to create. Some days the mojo just isn’t there, so the layout helps.
Pull out that card stock and recreate this card with any products that you have. When you see a free pdf, use those measurements and recreate. You do not have to have the same products on hand.
Don’t forget the inside! As I always say, the inside is just as important as the outside of the card. For example, with the inside of this card, after stamping the mushroom on the front, I stamped it again on the inside.
