Welcome back to another terrific Tuesday here at Gal Friday Stamping. I have created another card today using the Shaded Summer stamp set. Smokey Slate and black card stock were the colors to create a card with simple stamping and coloring.
The image is stamped in Smokey Slate and colored with Stampin’ Blends. I used the Smokey Slate for the image to use it as the shading under the Polished Pink blends.
See the effect of the gray stamped image and the coloring with the Blends? I used the Dark Polished Pink. The gray of the stamping creates the shading for the image.
Color Palette
For the leaves and stems of the image, I used the Stampin’ Write Markers. They lend a very small tip to draw the lines and the brush tip was used to color.
For the inside of the card, which I did not forget, I stamped off the second image in the set and added some of the designer series paper.
