Back again with the simple Saturday cards from yesterday’s video. Today, we’re stepping up Sunday.
It does not take much to step up your simple cards, as you will see with the cards created with the Color & Contour stamp set and matching dies. I used Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia card stock for the bases of my cards. The stamp set is a two-step process. The outline of the image is colored with a second stamp. Let’s take a look at the cards.
For both images, the simple card is on the right and the stepped-up card is on the left. As you can see, all I did to step up this card was to add a scalloped layer and some embellishments.
With the second card, I added an extra layer also. The layer with the dots was embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. And again, I added some gems. It does not take much when we’re stepping up Sunday.
